The last thing you see just before you are eaten by a donkey

Yesterday, I went to visit some friends who have donkeys. Very cute, extremely curious donkeys.

Naturally, the camera came out.

Things started out innocently enough, with the three of them coming over to say hi. (Note, I was sitting on a log for these pictures... the donkey are really only about 12 hh tall)

But then, they got closer...

... and closer...

... and... EEEEK!

Fortunately, they spared me (after I stood up) and went after my water bottle instead. It will bear the scars from their teeth for the rest of its days.
